The Go Developer will join an engineering team responsible for building, enhancing, and scaling enterprise messaging infrastructure supporting high-volume customer engagement and promotional workloads. The role will focus on application development using Golang, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput backend services. The developer will design and maintain scalable microservices, APIs, and messaging integrations while contributing to platform reliability, observability, performance, and modernization initiatives. This is a remote, contract-to-hire position.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang and Java.
• Build and enhance core components of enterprise messaging platforms.
• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of processing large volumes of events and messages.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver new platform capabilities.
• Drive improvements in platform performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing solutions.
• Build APIs, microservices, and messaging integrations supporting multiple business channels.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for complex distributed systems.
