Who is ACE

Ace mixes rubber compounds for many industries including the roller industry, belting and printing industries and also for molding applications.

4 Day Workweek!!

  • Afternoon and morning shifts available.
  • Afternoon shift offers a compressed week (Mon to Thurs) working 3:30pm- 2:45am.
  • Morning shift (Mon to Thurs) working 5:00am- 3:00pm and a partial shift on Friday.
  • All positions are Full-time.

Hourly rate starts at $18.00.With ongoing training and mastering the operation of different types of equipment, at the 2 year' mark the pay range can be $22.00 to $25.00

Types of equipment we will teach you to operate

  • Mill Operator
  • Extruder
  • Calendar sheet Operator (*you'll understand what this is when you see it)
  • Rubber mixer
  • Weighing and Measuring

Responsibilities:

  • Using formula sheet (think of a recipe card) list of ingredients required for your part of the process; start with the end product in mind in learning how to mix rubber
  • Loading and unloading of ingredients from pallets, you need to be able to safely lift 50 lbs repetitively and move heavy items on a regular basis
  • Operate the equipment that mixes our rubber products
  • Package and label the completed rubber product

Requirements:

  • Some post-secondary courses or on the job training in manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar industrial setting is preferred
  • 1 year working in an industrial setting OR restaurant, hospitality, lawn care are all transferrable skills
  • Very comfortable using a wide variety of tools, equipment, standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a non climate-controlled environment
  • Ensure the quality of your work both visually and by using specific tools to test the quality
