What are rubber gaskets?

Rubber gaskets are sealing components made from various types of rubber materials, designed to fill the space between two or more surfaces. Their primary purpose is to prevent leaks of liquids or gases by creating a tight seal under compression. Rubber gaskets are widely used in plumbing, automotive, machinery, and many industrial applications due to their flexibility, resilience, and resistance to various chemicals and temperatures. The type of rubber used (such as EPDM, Nitrile, or Silicone) is chosen based on the specific requirements of the application.
