Overview

The software team in Fort Wayne, IN provides world-class software for customers across Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, Effectors, Advanced Sensor Systems, and Surveillance & Warning systems.

What You Will Do
  • Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams.
  • Employ agile software development techniques to develop, test, and integrate complex software and system solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
  • Lead or contribute as a software team member on a software product.
  • Work with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement, and test systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in software development, integration, and/or testing using C++, Java, Ada or a similar objectโ€‘oriented language.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. governmentโ€‘issued Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problemโ€‘solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Selfโ€‘motivated problem solver who can identify gaps or issues and take initiative to resolve them.
  • Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Experience developing software using Agile techniques such as Scrum, Scrum@Scale, SAFe, or Testโ€‘Driven Development.
  • Experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance.
  • Ability to work in a fastโ€‘paced, dynamic environment with timeโ€‘critical requirements.
  • Experience contributing to a team environment for developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Development and integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Red Hat, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, or other RTOS.
  • Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
What We Offer

Relocation eligible. Salary range: 86,800 USD โ€“ 165,200 USD. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, shortโ€‘term and longโ€‘term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Annual incentive compensation programs may be available depending on level and collectiveโ€‘bargaining agreement.
