Additional Information About the Role

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center

 Position Details:

  • Day Shift Hours: Mon – Fri at  rotating shifts between 7am & 4:30pm with two Saturdays a year
  • Location: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced medicine Building with the option to also rotate to our South County, Highlands Screening Center , or the Mammography Van
  • Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
  • RT (M) Certification – preferred but not required
  • Willing to Train for Mammography (M)!!!

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency 
  • R.T. (R) registry

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
