Now Hiring: Recovery Support Specialist (RSS)
Multiple Shifts Available - Days, Evenings, Overnights & Weekends (FT, PT & Per Diem Shifts)

Hope on Haven Hill is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Recovery Support Specialists (RSS) to join our residential treatment team. This role is essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment for women receiving substance use treatment, with a special emphasis on supporting pregnant and parenting women and their children.
As a Recovery Support Specialist, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide encouragement, supervision, and practical support that empowers clients on their recovery journey while helping maintain a safe and positive residential community.
What You'll Do
  • Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a residential treatment setting.
  • Create a safe, respectful, trauma-informed environment for clients and their children.
  • Build supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Assist clients with daily routines, transportation coordination, childcare-related activities, and recovery-focused programming.
  • Encourage participation in treatment, parenting programs, and community resources.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure safety and compliance with program policies.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to crises using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques.
  • Complete accurate documentation and communicate client updates to the treatment team.
  • Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) certification preferred.
  • Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain New Hampshire CRSW certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and trauma-informed care.
