It measures the average revenue generated per unit sold or per user, helping companies assess their profitability and pricing strategies. In some contexts, 'RPU' can also stand for Remote Processing Unit, a hardware component used in computing and industrial automation. Understanding the context in which 'RPU' is used is important, as its meaning can vary across industries.

These tasks require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both internal teams and customers. Staying updated on the latest detection technologies and regulatory changes can help address these challenges, as can participating in ongoing training and collaborating closely with legal and operational departments.

At Avis Budget Group, we're driven to be the best vehicle rental company in the world, together. Our 25,000 employees raise the bar every day, bringing different perspectives, taking ownership, and leading with integrity. We're defining the future of mobility with safe, sustainable solutions that move people, businesses, and communities forward.
The Senior Manager, Revenue and Business Intelligence builds and maintains the analytical backbone that supports Avis Budget Group's revenue strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Strategy and Business Intelligence, this role owns the tracking, reporting, and forecasting infrastructure used to measure revenue performance, monitor RPD/RPU and Utilization trends, and surface insight from macroeconomic and industry data. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who can move fluidly between advanced analytics and clear executive-ready storytelling.
What You'll Do:
  • Build and maintain dashboards, tracking mechanisms, and evaluation models that measure the performance of revenue programs against RPD/RPU, Utilization, and segment-level targets.
  • Develop and refine financial and predictive revenue models used for forecasting, in partnership with the Senior Director and Finance.
  • Monitor macroeconomic and industry data and trends, translating them into actionable input for revenue strategy and pricing decisions.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Revenue Strategy to ensure business intelligence outputs directly support active strategic initiatives and revenue governance guardrails.
  • Maintain and advance the team's advanced data stack (query, modeling, and visualization tooling), ensuring reporting is accurate, automated where possible, and trusted by stakeholders.
  • Extract and interpret data from core commercial systems, including Wizard® and adjacent platforms, to support segmentation, pricing, and performance analysis.
  • Prepare executive-ready analysis and presentations that translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior and C-level audiences.
  • Support cross-functional go-to-market initiatives by providing the data, measurement frameworks, and post-launch evaluation needed to assess success.
  • Manage and develop a small team of analysts, setting priorities and quality standards for analytical output.

Perks You'll Get:
  • Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance
  • Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions
  • Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills
  • Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more

What We're Looking For:
  • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, revenue analytics, pricing analytics, or a related quantitative discipline; travel, mobility, or car rental experience is a plus.
  • Strong financial and predictive modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency with an advanced data stack (e.g., SQL, Python/R, cloud data warehouses, BI/visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI).
  • Familiarity with commercial and reservation systems (Wizard® or comparable platforms) preferred.
  • Comfort presenting analysis to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Experience managing or mentoring analysts preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related) required.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $140,000 - $165,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
