Schedule: 3rd Shift | 7 on / 7 off (Wednesday-Tuesday) | 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Generalist to join our acute care team at Rowan Medical Center. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across acute care settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to develop and optimize individualized treatment plans
  • Review and verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness
  • Monitor patient medication therapy and adjust recommendations based on clinical outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on medication use
  • Document interventions and clinical activities in accordance with system standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification
    • PharmD, preferred.
  • Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required.
    • 2 years of experience for Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles: ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity., required.
    • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
