Sunrise Services, INC. is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Rover for our Supported Living Program!

The Supported Living Rover provides flexible, cross-site direct supportand shiftcoverage, quality/compliance support across multiplelocations. The role ensures continuity of care, adherence to regulatory standards, and support for staff and client needs in dynamic environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to participants in their homes, ensuring safety, dignity, andclean environment
  • Work with all varietyof client support needs, including but not limited to challenging behavioral support, sexualized behavioral support, and medically fragilesupport
  • Relieve client supporting stafffrom client sites so they can take their lawful30 minutemeal breakif the staff member should request their meal break.
  • Assistwith communication and administrative tasksrequiredtomaintaincompliance and continuity of care within participant homes
  • Observe client's functional conditions and report changes immediatelytothe Health CareProgram Manager to ensure action is taken promptly
  • Complete medicationassistanceincluding administering, delivering,picking-up, arrange for renewal, and disposal ofoutdatedor no longer prescribed medicationsfor clients as assigned by the Health Care Program Manager
  • Provide quality assurance assistancewith medicationcomplianceand health trackingin accordance withthe Medical Providers order
  • Report all findings of errors or concernsregardingmedication and health tracking to the Health Care Program Manager
  • Assistwith transportationin personalvehicleor by setting up client paratransit to and frommedical appointmentsas requested by the Health Care Program Manager
  • Ensure that any maintenance problemsare reported to the Service Desk system
  • Ensure the clients' health and safety, power and choice, positive recognition by self and others, community integration, promote competence and self reliance, and support them in developing relationships.
  • Maintain participant records, implement the Individual Support Plan, Person-Centered Service Plan, Individual Instruction and Support Plan, and Positive Behavior Support Plan if applicable.
  • Must be able to safely transport participantsin accordance withcompany and state regulations.

Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

  • Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;Required
  • Bachelor's Degree; Preferred
  • Experience:1-3 years of experience in human services, behavioral health, or a related field preferred

  • Licensure/Certification:

  • Obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification, Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation Diabetes; within90 daysof hire
  • Obtain andmaintainan activeWashington StateNursing Assistant Registered
  • Attendtrainingrequired
  • Washington State Driver's License
  • Personal vehicle andproof of personal vehicle insurance meeting minimum required liabilitycoverageof$50,000 per accident
  • Background Check Clearance; WA State, FBIFinger Prints, and DSHS

Compensation:

  • $21 - $22.95 per hour
  • Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
