Reports To:ย ย Thirdย Shift Supervisorย 

FLSA Status:ย ย Hourlyย 

Pay rate: $20.20

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Conduct thorough patrols of the museum's galleries and facilities,ย monitoring forย any irregularities or unauthorized activities.ย 
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.ย 
  • Monitor premises to prevent and address harmful activities, ensuring the execution of security and safety responsibilitiesย 
  • Perform comprehensive safety inspections throughout the campus.ย 
  • Conduct lockdowns (detailed checks of buildings) to ensureย optimalย security measures areย maintained.ย 
  • Lockdowns are detailed building checks to ensure anyย damage (including water leaks,ย possible fire/smokeย damage, broken glass, opened doors in unoccupied spaces or other hazards areย observedย and reportedย 
  • Ability to document both injury-related and non-injury incidentsย 
  • Implementย appropriate emergencyย responses to fire, safety, and access proceduresย (door alarms,ย Fikeย panels, condensation)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Abilityย to react appropriately in emergency and high stress situationsย 

Requiredย SKILLSย ย 

  • Ability to read andย comprehendย directions, instructions, and memorandumsย
