Security Officer Unarmed Campus Rover

Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily site operations while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity and a people-first culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to verify authorized access, observe site activity, and support the reporting of maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, Allied Universal team members, and/or property management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
