We are seeking a Senior Routing Specialist to support our office in Chicago, IL.

Position Summary

HPE Networking is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focusedTechnical Solutions Architect (TSA)to serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor to service providers, enterprise customers, and strategic partners.

The Technical Solutions Architect will provide deep technical expertise inWAN routing, network infrastructure architecture, optical transport, data center connectivity, and emerging networking technologies. This role will support sales engagements, solution development, customer workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical enablement activities.

The ideal candidate combines strong networking fundamentals with hands-on architecture and design experience across WAN, enterprise edge, optical transport, data center interconnect, and network automation technologies. The TSA will collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Professional Services, and partner organizations to architect end-to-end solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HPE Networking routing and infrastructure solutions.

  • Design and validate scalable WAN, enterprise edge, and data center interconnect architectures.

  • Provide technical leadership during customer briefings, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and strategic design discussions.

  • Develop reference architectures, solution designs, deployment guidance, and networking best practices.

  • Partner with account teams to understand customer requirements and align technical solutions with business outcomes.

  • Support partner and field enablement through technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and training.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales to influence product direction and drive customer success.

  • Support competitive positioning and technical differentiation of HPE Networking solutions.

  • Support large-scale networking opportunities from initial discovery through technical validation and deployment planning.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
