Sei Labs is looking for aProtocol Engineerspecialized in the EVM to lead the development of core components of the Sei Blockchain. Our mission at Sei is to Scale the EVM, you'd be at the epicenter of everything we're about.

Responsibilities
  • Write code to build the core sei blockchain (execution, consensus, state management, etc.)
  • Analyze and own the end to end performance of Sei's EVM implementations.
  • Proactively identify and drive optimizations and improvements to the product.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
  • 2+ years of EVM specific work in building and scaling a Layer 1 blockchains performance
  • Deep end to end understanding of the EVM from execution to storage
  • A proven tech lead with experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact on a single system or team
  • Strong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritizations
  • Able to tackle complex engineering problems that deliver results
  • History of creating and applying new processes and tooling to increase engineering efficiency
