Job description

Senior Field Service Manager – HVAC

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced manager to lead field technician teams, ensuring profitable and safe service delivery across regional sites.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of field technician teams and plan monthly routes.
  • Analyze team performance and recommend improvements to profitability, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction while balancing financial goals.
  • Ensure safety compliance across all service activities.
  • Coordinate with sales to support opportunities and link to installations.
  • Drive operational reviews, evaluate bids and estimates for accuracy.
  • Develop staffing plans and support workforce management.
  • Prepare performance reviews, development plans, and coaching for direct reports.
  • Identify and present market opportunities to branch or regional leadership.
  • Audit operations and implement performance improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive operational experience in HVAC services.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience responsible for productivity and development.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree, 8+ years in HVAC operations, Six Sigma Green Belt.
Salary Range

$91,200 – $136,950
