Job description

D & B Grocers is seeking motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Merchandisers to join our growing team. In this role, you will travel to assigned national retail accounts to ensure products are stocked, rotated, displayed properly, and maintained according to company standards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active throughout the day, and building strong relationships with store personnel. Merchandisers play a key role in ensuring our products are fresh, organized, and presented in a way that delivers an excellent customer experience.


Merchandiser Job Responsibilities:

  • Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays from back-room inventory
  • Rotate product to maintain freshness and remove damaged or close-dated items
  • Build and maintain attractive product displays according to company standards and planograms
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock concerns
  • Follow a daily route schedule across multiple retail locations
  • Maintain positive relationships with store managers and employees
  • Ensure pricing, signage, and promotional displays are accurate and current
  • Complete merchandising reports and required documentation accurately and timely
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional store displays

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3 years of merchandising, retail, grocery, or customer service experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday
  • Comfortable traveling daily between assigned stores

Schedule & Work Environment

This role requires daily travel between retail locations and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require. Merchandisers spend the majority of their day in retail environments stocking product, organizing displays, and interacting with store personnel.
