WW Uniform Service is seeking an enthusiastic Route Service Driver to maintain business for our 101 year-old company.
We’re looking for people who like to drive, work independently and support relationships with existing customers. Yes, you’ll work hard to pick up and deliver uniforms, mats and other products to a set customer base. But, you’ll also get to interact and know these customers, learn more about their needs and be the connection they have to our company.
Our Route Service Drivers play an integral role in customer retention, which is currently over 95%, and also have opportunities to earn commission and bonuses by offering additional products to these customers.
Daily duties involve lifting, carrying and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. You would be the crux of our commitment to provide a personal touch in our service to each customer. By responding to customer inquiries and requests, as well as pro-active problem solving, you will represent the White Way Cleaners team on a daily basis.
The Route Service Driver must effectively respond to the customer’s needs and also introduce new products as needed. The Route Service Representative will consistently maintain and represent a professional image of White Way Cleaner through excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

White Way Cleaners, headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, is the only family-owned and operated dry cleaning, industrial laundry, and uniform service in the area. With three retail outlets and a state-of-the-art plant, White Way is one of the largest dry cleaners in Connecticut. We need our Sales Representatives to have the fearless drive and motivation that will keep our company thriving.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
-Engaging in 3 weeks of training
-Driving a company owned truck to deliver uniforms, linen and facilities products to customer’s place of business
-Obtaining customer signature on invoices for pickup or delivery
-Picking up soiled uniforms and linen and loading/unloading the truck
-Develops and maintains the customer#39;s goodwill by in daily interactions by taking a keen interest in our customer#39;s needs and developing a strong rapport
-Keeps customers abreast of new products or services
-Listens to and resolves service complaints. Maintains inventory and follows company’s policies on inventory control
-No smoking or tobacco use permitted on the job
Requirements:
