Job description

Position Name:          Relief Driver 
Classification:            Classified
Salary Level:             $22.45 - $27.62 (25/26 rate)
Location:                    Transportation
Reports to:                 Transportation Supervisor
Shift:                           6 hours 
Work Calendar:        180 day, Transportation





Position Overview:  The primary purpose of this position is to perform specialized and relief bus driving activities in the Transportation Department. Distinguished from Bus Driver (Regular of Special Needs) by the ability to know all bus routes and drive in relief of any bus driver with very little advance notice. Drives buses to safely transport students between bus stops and schools, on field trips, or as assigned.
