Route Driver – Used Cooking Oil Collection | Central Texas (Austin)

About Northern Gulf

Northern Gulf is a renewable fuel logistics and distribution company focused on collecting, transporting, and processing used cooking oil (“UCO”) across the Gulf Coast. We partner with restaurants, institutions, stadiums, and food production facilities to provide reliable, environmentally responsible collection services. As our Central Texas operations grow, we are expanding our driver team to support increasing route volume.

Position Overview

Northern Gulf is seeking a dependable Route Driver to perform daily UCO collection services across the Central Texas region. This role is focused on safe driving, consistent route execution, and professional customer interaction.

This is a driver‑only role — ideal for someone who wants stable hours, predictable routes, and long‑term employment with a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Route Operations

Operate company truck to collect used cooking oil from customer locations

Perform bin swaps, bin deliveries, and equipment placement

Safely operate pumps, hoses, and tank systems

Maintain accurate route logs, collection volumes, and service notes

Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental compliance requirements

Customer Service

Interact professionally with restaurant managers and staff

Report on access issues, equipment problems, or service concerns

Maintain a clean, respectful presence at all customer sites

Equipment & Maintenance

Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections

Report on mechanical issues promptly

Assist with basic hose, pump, and fitting maintenance

Keep truck and equipment clean and organized

Team Support

Coordinate with dispatch and operations on route timing

Assist with plant unloading

Support occasional special pickups or emergency service calls

Qualifications

Required

Valid CDL (Class B minimum)

Clean driving record

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments

Strong reliability and punctuality

Comfort working independently on daily routes

Preferred

Class A CDL

Experience with vacuum trucks, pump systems, or liquid hauling

Experience in waste collection, grease trap service, or environmental services

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
