Senior Java Full Stack Developer

This is not a remote position. Hybrid, We are in office 4 day a week, must be local.

Position Description:

Need software engineer to work on Propulsion in-house developed apps in CAD / CAE domain with the knowledge of OOP concepts, JAVA/Angular programming and Automation testing. Job involves software engineering responsibilities in CAD / CAE domain such as understanding the requirement, design and develop the solution, problem debugging and analysis, testing the developed components/models and pushing the tested module to the version-controlled environment (GitHub). Key Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions 2. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies 3. Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc. 4. Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application 5. Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc. 6. Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices. 7. Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency 8. Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery 9. Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization. 10. Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces 11. Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages 12. Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver their solutions, and are monitoring and participating in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration

Skills Required:

GCP Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Angular, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle, REST APIs, Java, Jira

Skills Preferred:

KAFKA, Testing Methodologies, Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience of utilizing Java full stack to design scalable web applications by leveraging microservices architecture and APIGEE / RESTful APIs. • 3+ years of experience of utilizing Angular to create user friendly front-end and enable real-time data updates in the web application user interface.’ • Minimum 5+ SQL / Oracle database experience or PostGres • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development (Cloud Run, Pub Sub, GCS Bucket) and deployment experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong in functional, integration and regression testing manually and automatically • Experience working complex SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data in relational database • Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories • Experience with test-driven development practices • Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues. • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities • Ability to work independently and take initiative when facing unexpected problems

Experience Preferred:

• Agile development • Experience in Jira • Development Practices such as TDD/BDD • Well versed with design such OOP • Code quality analysis of performing static and dynamic analysis on their own code • AI Development

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree
