2 Positions Available at Charter Casting — 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166

Molding Operator | 1st Shift (10-hour shifts, Mon-Thur, 6am-4pm) | $23/hr

  • Operate molding machines and set cores
  • Assemble and prepare sand molds for pouring
  • Inspect and prepare all patterns, set up mold production
  • Coordinate & communicate with melt and molding lines
  • Quality inspections on castings and patterns
  • Maintain a clean workspace, ladle repairs, and prepare for next production run

Melt Deck Operator | 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) | $27/hr

  • Transport melting materials and supplies;

  • Operate melting furnace charging equipment

  • Learn to operate the melting furnaces.  

  • Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck.

  • Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers.

  • Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.
