Relocation Assistance Available to the Tampa, FL Area

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing site of approximately 35 manufacturing employees (direct and indirect) in the Tampa area. This is an excellent opportunity for a high performing Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Department Manager, or Area Manager looking to take the next step into broader site leadership.

We are seeking leaders with experience in chemical manufacturing, raw material processing, plastics processing, polymer compounding, rubber compounding, specialty chemicals, resins, additives, coatings, adhesives, or other process manufacturing environments.

Candidates with experience in plastic processing, including injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, rotational molding, compression molding, or extrusion blow molding, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

    • Lead all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop supervisors and production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
    • Improve productivity, throughput, quality, and overall plant performance.
    • Partner with senior leadership on capital projects, operational strategy, and future growth initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
    • Build and develop high performing teams in a bilingual manufacturing environment.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience leading supervisors, managers, or production teams.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
    • Chemical/raw material or plastic processing experience required.
    • Proven success leading teams, driving operational improvements, and developing people.
