JOB SUMMARY: Theย Seniorย Associateย worksย closely with the AVP's andย VP'sย of the Healthcareย Financeย Division to grow the Healthcareย Financeย business.ย The main function of this position is toย assistย the AVP's and VP's with analyzing, evaluating, documenting, and closing loan opportunities. ย 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze potential direct loan origination opportunities and loan participation opportunities to providers of healthcare services and owners of healthcare real estateย 

  • Model financial projections and run sensitivity analyses to assess a firm's potential to repay its loan under various economic scenariosย 

  • Perform financial due diligence on target companiesย 

  • Prepare and present loan investment screening memos to Healthcareย Financeย leadershipย ย 

  • Actively engage with various transaction parties (e.g., borrower, broker, etc.) during such diligenceย 

  • Prepare loan investment approval write-ups to present to theย Bank's credit committeeย 

  • Coordinateย loanย closings withย the Portfolio Management and Operations teamย 

  • Work with portfolio management team toย monitorย and track the financial performance of companies in the loan portfolio and prepare performance update memorandumsย 

  • Assistย in ad hoc/special projects and other duties on an as needed basisย 

  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diplomaย required;ย Bachelor's Degreeย preferredย 

  • Minimumย 4ย years ofย experience in audit, credit analysis, investment banking, M&A transaction services, financial rotational programs, loan underwriting or HUD underwriting roleย requiredย 

  • CPA or CFAย isย a plusย 

  • Healthcare experience is a plusย 

  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)ย ย ย 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsย ย ย 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailย ย ย ย 

  • Outstanding problem-solving and time management skillsย ย ย 

  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-orientedย ย 

  • Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentย ย ย

The pay range for this position is above. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience $100,000 (entry level qualifications) to $120,000 (highly experienced).
