Role: DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH

Duration: Full-TIme

Job Description:

  • The flavor of DevOps for this one is going to be someone with a data protection / data security background and mindset.
  • Making sure the right people have the right access AKA the wrong people don't have the wrong access
  • This DevOps Team runs platforms for the monitoring team that sends alerts (the DevOps team is not doing the monitoring themselves, but providing the tools / technologies that the monitoring team will rely on for updates / alerts).

Right now:

  • Currently have both in-house deploying on databases.
  1. jSonar
  2. Guardium

Objective:
The goal is to narrow down and choose between jSonar + Guardium and then replace the other with OTel (OpenTelemetry)
What we need:

  • AWS and Cloud Deployment Tools (such as Terraform)
  • DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
  • SQL for Querying
  • Shell scripting, Python
  • jSonar and/or Guardium is a MUST

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience in talking to Product teams, collect business requirements and convert into system requirements.
  • Experience in Design and build the product or any in house solution from the ground up.
  • Technical skills (e.g., SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python)
  • Demonstrated ability in a cloud DevOps role, cloud architecture and solutions are required.
  • CI/CD pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins Core as well as scripting knowledge (python, Shell) is required.
  • Experience in working with cloud computing technologies (MS Azure / AWS) is required
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Database activity Logging & Monitoring
  • Experience with AWS CloudWatch
  • Nice to have experience with Guardium, jSonar and Splunk.
  • Experience of working with global teams, across different time zones.
  • AWS or Azure Certified preferred
  • Experience in working with Agile Scrum methodology

  • Strong knowledge of supporting operating systems (Linux and Windows) from Engineering standpoint
  • Strong knowledge of cloud/on prem/hybrid application deployment models
  • Experience with ITIL or another IT service management framework
  • Excellent system analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience Troubleshooting Difficult Technical Problems
  • Strong knowledge in engineering the phased/layered Test approaches
  • Experience in working with financial services industries
