Responsibilities:
  • Review customer specifications, application data, and technical requirements to develop engineered supply system solutions.
  • Prepare technical quotations and proposal packages for both standard and customized supply systems.
  • Provide technical clarification and application support between customers, Sales, Engineering, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support applications related to API 682 4th Edition, ANSI standards, Quick Ship programs, and Refill Cart offerings.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project scope, costing, delivery expectations, and technical feasibility.
  • Interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, isometrics, instrumentation diagrams, and dimensional requirements to ensure solution accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to develop or refine 2D drawings, preliminary layouts, and technical documentation required for proposals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quotation quality, costing reliability, process efficiency, lead time accuracy, and mechanical seal application support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales support, project engineering, supply systems, rotating equipment, or a related industrial environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and translate customer requirements into practical engineered solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting P&IDs, PFDs, GA drawings, instrumentation diagrams, and mechanical layout drawings.
  • Working knowledge of seal supply systems, auxiliary systems, instrumentation, piping assemblies, and mechanical seal applications.
  • Familiarity with API 682, ASME, ANSI, and other industry standards relevant to engineered supply systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, along with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with experience supporting quotations, costing reviews, delivery coordination, and custom scope interpretation.
