Job description


A well-established healthcare system in western Georgia is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join its Urgent Care team providing high-quality, fast-paced outpatient care across multiple community locations.
Position Highlights:
  • Full-time urgent care role averaging ~40 hours/week
  • Rotating schedule: 3 weekdays one week, 2 weekdays + 2 weekend days the next
  • Weekend coverage every other weekend
  • Clinic hours:
    • Weekdays: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM (or until last patient is seen)
    • Weekends: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (or until last patient is seen)
  • Multiple urgent care locations across the regional network
  • Supportive clinical staff with strong administrative and management support
  • Fast-paced outpatient setting with broad patient mix and acuity
  • Epic EMR systemwide for integrated documentation and care coordination
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
  • DOT certification preferred
  • Comfortable managing a wide range of urgent care presentations
  • Strong team-based, patient-focused approach
