Job description

Salary Range: $28.75 - $41.09 per hour DOE

Position Overview:

The Labor & Deliver (L&D) Operating Room Technician is responsible for maintaining the L&D operating
rooms, creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures, assisting with maintaining the
environment and equipment in L&D, entering surgical data from the perioperative report into the electronic
record, and completing patient charges for surgical patients.


Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • (1) year of previous surgical technician experience OR Surgical Tech certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to report to site within 30 minutes if on-call

Preferred:

  • Operating Room Technician (ORT) Certification
  • Previous hospital experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
