You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and alarm response, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintaining accurate visitor and driver logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
