Are you an experienced Press Operator with strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of press systems? We’re hiring skilled individuals to join our production team in Elgin, IL. If you're detail-oriented and comfortable working with advanced press equipment, we want to hear from you!

Press Operator – Day & Night Shifts Available
Location: Elgin, IL
Shifts:
  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift)
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
    Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate complex press systems and controls
  • Operate and troubleshoot:
    • Splicer
    • Gluer
    • Straub Applicators
    • Label Applicators
    • Rotary Cutter
    • Register Systems
  • Understand and manage tension controls and ancillary equipment
  • Web up the press line and ensure proper material flow
  • Set glue rollers, change plates, cylinders, and glue pads as needed
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and machine adjustments to maintain uptime
  • Follow safety and quality standards throughout operations
Requirements:
  • Prior experience operating industrial printing or converting presses
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and press-related components
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating or fixed schedule
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the duration of the shift
