The Root Center for Advanced Recovery is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet client needs.

  • Performing initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans and executing follow-up strategies to track patient progress.
  • Participating actively in the multidisciplinary team process to contribute to an integrated overall treatment plan that positions clients for success in recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals and families grappling with substance use and mental health issues. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, ensuring a strong academic foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • An active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in clinical settings focusing on family systems and mental health.
  • Strong proficiency in psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention techniques, and collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • In-depth understanding of individual and family development throughout various life stages.
