The Root Center for Advanced Recovery is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our expanding team. As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home office while maintaining a strong connection with our multidisciplinary team. You will utilize telehealth technologies and practice management systems to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. • Conducting comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet client needs.
• Providing crisis intervention and counseling, including assessing and addressing emotional and behavioral problems on a day-to-day basis.
• Performing initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Developing individualized treatment plans and executing follow-up strategies to track patient progress.
• Participating actively in the multidisciplinary team process to contribute to an integrated overall treatment plan that positions clients for success in recovery.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals and families grappling with substance use and mental health issues. Our diverse client base includes adults seeking recovery from addiction, couples experiencing relational strain, and families addressing dynamics impacted by mental health challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering resilience and promoting holistic healing within these client groups.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, ensuring a strong academic foundation in therapeutic practices.
• An active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in clinical settings focusing on family systems and mental health.
• Strong proficiency in psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention techniques, and collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork.
• In-depth understanding of individual and family development throughout various life stages.

• Experience working with clients dealing with substance abuse and mental health disorders is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to facilitate remote therapy effectively.

Root Center for Advanced Recovery offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
