L3 Application Support Engineer

Job Summary
The L3 Application Support Engineer will provide advanced production support for business critical applications built using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. This role focuses on deep technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent fix implementation, working closely with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3 production support for enterprise applications developed using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Perform in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and complex incidents.
Debug application issues related to APIs, microservices, backend logic, and frontend components.
Analyze logs, stack traces, database issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Implement bug fixes, patches, and minor enhancements in coordination with development teams.
Support production deployments, releases, hotfixes, and post-release validations.
Work with L2 support teams to guide issue triage and resolution.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, incident management, and change management processes.
Participate in on-call / rotational shifts as part of 24x7 support coverage.
Maintain and improve support documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
Proactively identify stability, performance, and security improvements.
Salary Range- $90,000-$100,000 a year
