What you will have an opportunity to do:

The In-Room Dining Agent is responsible for taking guest orders, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, processing requests accurately, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls for room service orders professionally and courteously.
  • Accurately record food, beverage, and special dietary requests.
  • Enter orders into the hotel's point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Communicate order details to kitchen and service teams.
  • Monitor order preparation and delivery times.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Coordinate tray pickup and room service follow-up when required.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and hotel services.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards and food safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
