Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on operations, safety, and equipment use
  • Lead daily huddles to review schedules, safety, and workflow • Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation • Maintain 98% inventory accuracy through consistent monitoring and controls • Track expiration-sensitive materials and communicate usage priorities • Ensure pick lists are completed accurately and materials are loaded/unloaded safely • Communicate with construction teams to coordinate material needs • Audit receiving procedures and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality • Operate and oversee forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment • Ensure warehouse and facility remain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant • Coordinate repairs and report maintenance needs to the Fleet & Equipment team • Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Technical training, certifications, or college degree (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience (required)
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (required)
  • Experience handling roofing and HVAC materials (required)
  • Previous construction industry experience (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests.
  • Ability to lift 100 LBS or more.
  • Successful Background Check.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain high accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a drug-free culture.
