Roofing Inspector – Tyler, TX
Join a trusted name in roofing with over 27 years of excellence.

Cable's Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Roofing Inspector to join our team in Tyler, Texas. In this vital role, you'll assess potential roof needs for residential and commercial properties using both in-person evaluations and drone technology. You’ll gather critical information, diagnose roof issues, and help set the stage for impactful solutions — all while delivering top-notch service.

What You’ll Do:

Roof Inspections:

  • Conduct inspections using ladder or drone technology

  • Identify and document roof issues (storm damage, wear, leaks, etc.)

  • Take detailed photos, measurements, and notes for scope development

  • Interpret insurance claims, scopes of work, and estimate needs (preferred)

Reporting & Communication:

  • Track and report daily KPIs (inspections, leads, follow-ups, etc.)

  • Maintain clear communication with sales and production teams

  • Ensure a professional, customer-first approach in every interaction


What You Bring:
  • Roofing experience preferred (technical or estimating background)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable climbing roofs and/or operating drone equipment

  • Great communication and customer service abilities

  • Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office and mobile inspection tools)

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
