About the Role

We’re launching Zuper for Roofing—a focused, purpose-built solution for residential roofing contractors—and we’re looking for a high-performing, entrepreneurial Account Executive to help drive growth in this rapidly expanding vertical.

This is a high-impact role for a motivated seller who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to help build something from the ground up. You’ll own a defined territory, run the full sales cycle, and help shape the go-to-market strategy for one of Zuper’s fastest-growing segments.

You’ll have the freedom to experiment, influence messaging, and directly impact how Zuper becomes the platform of choice for roofing professionals. If you’ve ever wanted to combine startup agility with the backing of a proven product, this is that opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a 3–4x pipeline to quota through outbound prospecting, inbound conversion, and partner-sourced leads.
  • Execute 20–25 qualified demos per month, tailoring each to roofing workflows such as inspection scheduling, proposal generation, job tracking, and invoicing.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM data for pipeline, forecasting, and activity metrics.
Customer Engagement & Industry Expertise
  • Act as a trusted advisor to roofing business owners, sales leaders, and operations managers.
  • Run compelling, story-driven demos that show how Zuper reduces scheduling time, increases utilization, and drives revenue.
  • Clearly communicate ROI through business cases and integration capabilities (e.g., QuickBooks two-way sync).
  • Capture and share customer feedback with product and marketing to inform ongoing platform development.
Market Presence & Collaboration
  • Represent Zuper at major industry events (International Roofing Expo, MRCA Conference & Expo) and local trade associations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and SDR teams to refine messaging and GTM strategy.
  • Contribute to early-stage playbook development and help define best practices as we scale the Roofing vertical.
  • Love the hunt—creating pipeline, building relationships, and closing deals that drive measurable business impact.
  • Have 1–3+ years of SaaS or service-based sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Are naturally curious, resourceful, and energized by building in less-defined environments.
  • Communicate with confidence and clarity—on calls, over email, and in virtual demos.
  • Thrive in a team that values initiative, experimentation, and accountability.
  • Have direct experience in residential roofing—selling, estimating, project coordination, or operations.
  • Are familiar with roofing and contractor software such as EagleView, HOVER, and QuickBooks.
  • Have demoed or sold field service and/or software that covers inspections, proposals, scheduling, dispatch, and payments.
  • Have attended or exhibited at roofing trade shows like IRE or MRCA.
How We Define Early Success
  • Month 1 – Learn & Launch:
  • You’ll ramp quickly on Zuper’s platform, complete demo certification, and build a clear go-to-market plan for your territory. You’ll begin prospecting and creating early opportunities while developing a strong grasp of the roofing buyer and workflow.
  • Month 2 – Execute & Iterate:
  • You’ll be running high-quality demos, refining your discovery approach, and closing your first customers. You’ll partner closely with marketing and SDRs to test messaging and identify repeatable patterns of success.
  • You’ll have established a consistent rhythm from discovery → demo → close, with reliable forecasting and early customer references. You’ll operate with confidence and ownership, helping shape how we expand in the roofing market.
What We Offer
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission, with accelerators for overachievement.
  • Ownership & Visibility: You’ll be part of a small, focused team where initiative is noticed, ideas are implemented quickly, and your results directly shape how we scale this market.
  • Culture & Growth: A values-driven team (HEROES) that rewards accountability, creativity, and results.
  • Impact: Be part of a high-growth vertical with strong product-market fit, leadership visibility, and a clear path to advancement as the team scales.
