About the Role:

The Email Advertising Operations Specialist sits within the Customer Delivery Audience Solutions function and reports to the Advertising Delivery Senior Manager. The role owns day-to-day delivery of assigned email advertising campaigns - scheduling, build, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication. Working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), it ensures campaigns are accurate, on time, and properly targeted. It also contributes to operational readiness and keeps internal and society stakeholders updated.

Job Responsibilities:

Build, schedule, and deploy assigned email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed timelines.

Perform quality assurance on email builds - rendering, links, personalisation, and audience/ad targeting - before deployment.

Handle routine delivery queries and escalate complex or at-risk issues to the Advertising Delivery Senior Manager.

Maintain campaign delivery tracking and scheduling records across assigned societies and editorial teams.

Communicate scheduling, timelines, and delivery status to stakeholders, and coordinate handovers with the email delivery specialist and managed service contractor.

Follow and help maintain standard operating procedures, delivery checklists, and process documentation for email campaigns.

Reporting on complete campaigns.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in advertising email marketing operations, HTML coding, email delivery, or a closely related campaign delivery role.

Familiarity with email deployment platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent).

Strong organisational skills - able to manage multiple concurrent campaigns, deadlines, and quality checks.

Good attention to detail, particularly in quality assurance and audience targeting.

Clear written and verbal communication - able to produce stakeholder updates and follow process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advertising operations experience in a B2B publishing or media environment.

Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Familiarity with ad serving or booking platforms (e.g. Google Ad Manager, ADvendio).
