About Us: The Pier 2 Roller Rink at Brooklyn Bridge Park is now open for the season! This beautiful, one-of-a-kind roller-skating rink boasts stunning views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty. It's the perfect destination for both locals and tourists alike. We're looking for energetic and dependable individuals to join our team and help create an unforgettable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure every guest has a clean, fun, friendly, and safe experience.
  • Operate the cash register and provide accurate change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned area.
  • Understand and enforce facility rules in a diplomatic and friendly manner.
  • Stay alert and help prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Depending on your role, you may also:
  • Communicate current skate times, rates, and promotions to guests.
  • Ensure that all skating adults sign a waiver card before entering.
  • Administer the skate rental process and inspect guest-provided skates.
  • Encourage guests to sign up for marketing emails.
  • Report any safety concerns or issues to the session manager.
Qualifications:
  • Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential!
  • Floor Guard Position: We are also looking for experienced skaters to join our team as floor guards. If you have your own skates, please bring them with you!

Job Details:
Location: Pier 2 Roller Skating Rink, Brooklyn Bridge Park, 150 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (at the back of the pier, near the basketball courts and behind the bathrooms).
Position: Part-time (15 to 25 hours per week)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Training: We're happy to provide training for the right candidates!
