Job description

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm & Monday - Thursday, 1:30pm - 12:00am

CORE JOB DUTIES 

  • Executing tasks assigned by the Packaging Manager 
  • Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Packaging Manager 
  • Collecting samples and performing tests to ensure quality 
  • Maintaining a sanitary work environment 
  • Set up Roll-Pro's machinery for operation, using start of shift checklist 
  • Start, run, make adjustments to Roll Pro machinery when necessary to improve performance 
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions 
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate downtime and barriers to supervisor 
  • Perform quality control follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures(Block Tracker)  
  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area 
  • Safely transport products from workspace to storage area 
  • Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS  

  • Prior experience w/ automation equipment (ie. scales, fillers, HMIs, etc) 
  • Working understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure 
  • Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner 
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment 
  • Proficiency in Excel software, Tracking rates in weekly "Block Tracker"
