As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated CDL Driver Supervisor to join our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver Supervisor with experience in operating dump trucks and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of drivers, ensuring safe and timely transportation of materials to and from job sites while maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance and safety compliance. This role is crucial to our operations and requires strong leadership, responsibility, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of CDL drivers in loading and unloading materials and equipment at various job sites.
  • Ensure safe operation of dump trucks and roll-off trucks for transporting materials such as dirt, debris, and construction waste.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
  • Secure loads to prevent shifting or spillage during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with field supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported, delivery times, and mileage.
  • Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, including DOT requirements.
  • Promote a professional appearance among drivers, ensuring compliance with proper attire and wearing personal protective equipment PPE) such as, safety vests and glasses when appropriate, long pants, hard sole/close-toed work boots, and presenting a clean and professional appearance.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and site personnel.
  • Oversee routine maintenance checks and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for any issues.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
  • Valid DOT Medical card

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to climb in and out of trucks multiple times per day.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
