Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver / Laborer to join our team. This dual-role position combines professional driving with hands-on labor support for the installation and servicing of environmental waste handling equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to work both behind the wheel and in the field alongside our installation technician.


Key Responsibilities:


Driving Duties

  • Safely operate roll-off trucks and Stake Body Trucks to transport equipment, and materials to and from job sites, customer locations, and recycling facilities.
  • Load, secure, and unload compactors, containers, and materials as required.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery tickets, and required paperwork.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.


Laborer / Installation Support Duties

  • Assist with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of environmental waste equipment, including trash compactors, balers, and dock lifts.
  • Perform basic construction labor such as material handling, lifting, drilling, cutting, and fastening.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Support shop activities such as staging equipment, cleaning, and preparing tools and materials for jobs.


Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL with a clean driving record required.
  • Previous roll-off truck driving experience preferred.
  • General construction, mechanical, or labor experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to following procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
