We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Roll-off Hooklift Driver to join our team and drive the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recyclable materials. This role involves operating specialized roll-off trucks equipped with hooklift mechanisms to load, transport, and unload containers at various locations. The ideal candidate will be energized by a fast-paced environment, committed to safety, and possess a strong driving record. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Duties

  • Operate roll-off trucks with hooklift systems to load, transport, and unload waste containers efficiently across designated routes.
  • Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure safety compliance and optimal performance.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies during route driving, including adherence to manual transmission operation if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, route details, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe truck.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B driver’s license with air brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and experience operating automatic transmission trucks preferred.
  • Proven truck driving experience, especially with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
  • Experience with route driving in diverse environments and managing delivery schedules efficiently.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
