The Role

The Watchmaker’s basic responsibilities will be to provide in-store watch evaluations, basic on-site maintenance, and performing quality control checks.


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Basic watch Maintenance
  • Clean cases and bracelets w/ ultrasonic cleaner/steam where applicable
  • Replacing pins, screws, bracelets, crystals, dials, batteries
  • Conduct quality control on out-of-store repaired watches including appearance, proper hand alignment, water resistance documentation and final wipe down and wrap
  • Support process for out-of-store watch repair


Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in watch repair and servicing, particularly mechanical and automatic watches.
  • Hands-on experience working with watches, including disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly.
  • Background in quality control, with the ability to perform detailed inspections and functional tests on timepieces.
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling small components and precision instruments.
  • Formal training or certification in watchmaking or horology (e.g., WOSTEP, AWCI, SAWTA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, service manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple repairs while meeting turnaround time expectations.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work closely with internal teams.
  • Comfort working on-site in a workshop environment, adhering to safety, cleanliness, and security standards.
  • Previous experience with luxury brands, especially Rolex, is a plus.

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
