Job Description:

Earn a $1000 bonus! This role qualifies for a $1000 Hiring Bonus if you are hired and start working by September 30, 2026. Depending on the position and meeting eligibility requirements, the bonus is paid after 90 days of employment.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Manual Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG and/or TIG welding on steel and stainless steel components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read complex blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2nd Shift Schedule: 3pm - 11pm
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.20*
Additional 10% differential for 2nd Shift
*Includes shift differential for 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG operations on various metal components, ensuring all welds meet structural and aesthetic specifications

  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and weld symbols to determine project requirements

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections and use precision measuring tools (calipers, squares, tape measures) to ensure parts meet tolerances

  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, organized workstation

  • Meet or exceed daily production quotas while minimizing scrap and rework

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in MIG and/or TIG welding, specifically working with steel and/or stainless steel in a production environment

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Current welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is highly preferred

  • Proficiency in identifying metal types, gauges, and various hardware components

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds regularly

  • Candidates must successfully pass a hands-on welding test as part of the interview process

  • Requirement to wear all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet, gloves, and steel-toed boots
