Exterminator/Pest Control Technician. We are a rapidly growing- full service commercial/residential pest management company looking to hire service technicians in Northern New Jersey. The successful candidate should have ‎their valid New Jersey pest control license and experience.

We are looking for career minded individuals to join our team for a career in a recession proof industry. The need is real and beyond seasonal. Looking for self managed, with excellent communication skills, reliable, and open to new ideas.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Include:

Exterminator/Pest Control Technician

  • Drive company truck to customers located in NJ / NY. (Gas Card & EZ PASS Provided)
  • Service technician will work closely with management and customers to identify the pest problems and determine the right steps and service protocols.
  • Complete all paperwork and route logs accurately and timely
  • Applying materials to structure when and if needed
  • Face to face communication with our customers is a must
  • Documentation skills with neat handwriting are a must
  • Physical stamina to endure excessive bending and kneeling to locate pests in hard-to-reach areas
  • Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems in the event of infestations in the pipes or chewed wiring
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills when speaking with customers and advising on treatment methods
  • Exhibition of strong attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures
  • Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures based on industry trends
  • Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests
  • Setting traps for rodents (mice & rats)
  • Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for ants and other general insects.
  • Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests
  • Using bait to eliminate rats and mice
  • Covering holes with mesh/excluder to hinder rodent entry
  • Recommending products and services for effective pest control
  • Show a stable work history
  • Work independently and in teams
  • Be comfortable working with insect and rodent pests in a variety of conditions and confined spaces
  • Ability to read and understand product labels in English

Requirements:

  • Reference and background check (required)
  • Must have Valid Driver's License (required)
  • Pesticide Operator, Pesticide Applicator License (preferred)
  • Minimum 1-5 years as a Pest Control Technician (preferred)
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
  • Phone & office interview
