We are seeking a Production Supervisor based in our Chicago Factory to join the Rockfon Production team.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.

What you will be doing:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for cost effective manufacturing of Grid products consistent with required quality standards, safe work practices, effective housekeeping and maintaining compliance with personnel policies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a production team of up to 30 employees to safely achieve production, quality, and efficiency goals.
  • Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
  • Coach, train, and evaluate team members, including scheduling, timekeeping, performance management, corrective action, and hiring support.
  • Monitor production plans, performance, and downtime using SAP and other production systems to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting accident investigations, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, planning, shipping, and other departments to optimize production and resolve operational issues.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory support, and an organized work environment.
  • Support plant operations, including facility opening/closing and other operational needs as required.
What you bring:
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
  • Experience leading production teams, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching.
  • Knowledge of production operations, workplace safety, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/MES systems is an asset.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
