They work on propulsion systems, structural components, guidance systems, and safety measures to ensure rockets can safely deliver payloads into space. Rocket engineers often have backgrounds in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges in spaceflight. Their work is essential for space exploration, satellite deployment, and scientific research.

Job description

Warehouse Manager - Tavernier / Key Largo, FL
Rocket Cooling
Are you the type of person who likes to stay busy, stay organized, and make sure everything is where it needs to be?
We're looking for someone to take ownership of our warehouse operations and inventory systems while helping keep our technicians set up for success every day. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse responsibilities, inventory management, logistics coordination, and computer-based tracking.
At Rocket Cooling, we are not a corporate, red-tape company. We move fast, solve problems, and support each other. If you take pride in staying organized, keeping things running smoothly, and being the person everyone can count on, this is a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing
- Organizing and maintaining the warehouse so materials, equipment, and parts are easy to locate and access
- Receiving, checking in, and stocking inventory
- Tracking inventory levels and maintaining accurate records using company software
- Entering purchase orders, receiving shipments, and updating inventory information in the computer system
- Coordinating parts and equipment needs with technicians and office staff
- Preparing materials and equipment for technicians each morning
- Running parts between locations and job sites as needed
- Picking up equipment, materials, and supplier orders
- Unloading trucks and properly organizing incoming inventory
- Monitoring stock levels and communicating when items need to be reordered
- Helping maintain company vehicles and ensuring they are properly stocked
- Supporting the team with whatever is needed to keep jobs moving efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with inventory software and digital systems
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-starter who takes ownership without needing constant direction
- Reliable and consistent
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-first mindset
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Warehouse, inventory, logistics, or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
About Us
Rocket Cooling is a fast-growing HVAC company built on a simple idea: do things the right way and take care of people.
We've grown from a small local shop into a multi-location company across Florida by focusing on honest service, strong communication, and building real value for our customers. We are not a high-pressure sales company. We are a service company that believes in educating customers and delivering high-quality work.
Our team is made up of people who take pride in what they do. We move fast, stay organized, and support each other. There is no red tape here. If something needs to get done, we figure it out and make it happen.
In the Upper Keys, we are continuing to build a strong, reliable team that keeps our operation running smoothly every day. This role is a big part of that.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Full-time, year-round work
- Paid holidays
- Overtime opportunities
- Opportunities for growth as we continue to expand
- Stable company with strong leadership and clear direction
- Team environment where your role is valued and respected
Why This Role Matters
Our technicians can't do their job without the right parts, equipment, inventory, and preparation. This role is the backbone of our daily operation. When this position is done right, everything runs smoother, faster, and better for our customers.
If you're someone who takes pride in being dependable, staying organized, using technology effectively, and keeping things running behind the scenes, we want to talk to you.
