Job description

Position: Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: Wichita, KS
Work Model: In-Office
Compensation: $45,000–$60,000 base salary plus performance-based bonuses quarterly
Schedule: Standard business hours

Benefits:

  • 13.5 paid holidays (includes all bank holidays, additional Thanksgiving days, Christmas Eve, and half day for Easter)

Overview:
Our client is hiring an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to support a high-volume, purchase-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a broker or non-delegated setting and enjoys working closely with borrowers, loan officers, and lending partners to ensure smooth and compliant loan execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-touch experience to borrowers, loan officers, and partners throughout the loan process
  • Proactively communicate updates, conditions, and loan status to all parties
  • Review and interpret investor guidelines to ensure accurate and compliant loan files
  • Structure loans and calculate income with a strong understanding of complex scenarios
  • Manage multiple loans efficiently while maintaining accuracy and strong relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a mortgage processor in a broker or non-delegated environment
  • Strong background in purchase transactions
  • Experience working with investor portals such as UWM, Rocket, or similar
  • Knowledge of VA, FHA, and Conventional loan products
  • Strong income calculation and loan structuring skills
  • Experience using Arive LOS
  • Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, including handling escalations
