Job description

Job Summary:
Rocket Companies is revolutionizing the real estate industry, and they are seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to own Search across Redfin’s classic search and conversational AI on web and apps. The role involves setting the strategy for how buyers discover homes on Redfin and leading a cross-functional team to enhance the search experience.
Responsibilities:
• Set the vision and product strategy for search across Redfin.com and our iOS and Android apps
• Own the sort and relevance roadmap end-to-end: score-based sorting, personalized re-ranking and the experiments that prove what's actually working.
• Closes known gaps in classic search that users notice and add friction to our experience.
• Shape the next generation of conversational search within our AI experiences.
• Write clear requirements, partner with design to shape the experience, and work alongside engineers to ship and iterate quickly.
• Go deep on the technical details. You'll be expected to understand how ranking, relevance, and personalization actually work in order to figure out how to evolve them.
• Own a set of search and engagement metrics, design A/B tests that answer real questions, and use the results to guide what ships and what gets cut.
• Keep execs and stakeholders aligned with clear updates on strategy, tradeoffs, results, and what's next.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of consumer product management experience shipping web and mobile experiences to millions of users.
• Leading consumer search products on a marketplace is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable getting technical. You can hold your own in a conversation about ranking models, embeddings, retrieval, or evaluation methodology.
• Confident making data-driven decisions through deep analysis and rigorous A/B testing.
• Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms.
• Strategic and execution-minded in equal measure.
• Deep customer empathy.
• Strong communicator who can take a messy problem space and turn it into a clear plan that engineers, designers, and execs can all rally around.
• A fast learner who picks up new subject areas quickly and isn't afraid of ambiguity.
Preferred:
• AI-native preferred. You use AI tools daily to write better specs, prototype faster, analyze data, and generally do more with less.
