The Opportunity:

As a key member of the Training and Development Leadership Team, you'll shape the vision and strategy for sales, marketing, and commercial talent development at Roche Diagnostics. You'll lead all Commercial training initiativesโ€”partnering with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that directly impact revenue goals and competitive positioning. Your global perspective ensures consistent, effective partnership development across the organization.

  • provide strategic oversight and management supporting the Roche Diagnostics Commercial's sales and marketing training needs and T&D initiatives that equip teams with future ready capabilities
  • foster a culture of growth by actively seeking and offering feedback, providing meaningful coaching and guidance, and creating clear development pathways for your team
  • align all training initiatives with Roche's mission and vision, anticipate future commercial needs, and proactively adapt strategies to evolving business priorities and organizational changes
  • serve as a trusted thought leader and advisor across Training and Development and throughout the entire Commercial organization
  • partner with global colleagues to standardize training content and ensure consistent development across the organization

This Indianapolis-based position requires 25% travel to support business meetings, customer engagement, and stakeholder collaboration.

Who You Are:
  • BS/BA in business, organizational development, related technical, scientific, marketing, sales or related fields
  • 10 years of professional experience in related technical, training, sales or marketing
  • 5 years of leadership experience or equivalent
  • 5 years of previous training experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of product development, regulatory and clinical affairs
  • Strong grasp/understanding of customers, products and the dynamics of the diagnostics market
  • Previous field management experience in the pharmaceutical, medical diagnostics or related industry
  • Creates and manages sales training budget and headcount utilization
  • People leadership experience managing and developing a team of direct reports
  • Previous experience leading large-scale business planning processes, including development and implementation of strategies, plans, goals and metrics
  • Experience with global commercial teams

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $154,400.00 - $286,700.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
