Summary:
Mujin is building the future of industrial robotic systems for warehouses, manufacturing, and distribution. We're headquartered in Tokyo with a fast-growing North American business based in Suwanee, GA, serving some of the world's largest logistics, manufacturing, and e-commerce companies.
We are seeking a Director, Pricing Strategy & Commercial Finance to lead pricing strategy, commercialization, and monetization across Mujin's portfolio of software, hardware, cloud, services, and support offerings. Reporting directly to the CFO of Mujin US, this highly visible role partners with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Finance leadership to develop scalable pricing frameworks, commercial processes, and financial models that support profitable growth globally.
The successful candidate will help define how Mujin prices, packages, commercializes, and scales its solutions while driving pricing governance, commercial effectiveness, and operational scalability.
Position Description:
Pricing Strategy & Commercial Leadership
Own pricing strategy, packaging, and monetization across software, hardware, cloud, services, and support offerings.
  • Develop and maintain pricing methodologies, ROI, and business case models that drive growth, profitability, and customer adoption.
  • Evaluate customer profitability, deal economics, product margins, and recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, R&D, Sales, Finance, and executive leadership to support pricing decisions, new product introductions, and commercial initiatives.
  • Present pricing recommendations and commercial insights to executive leadership.

Pricing Operations & Systems
  • Establish pricing governance, approval workflows, and commercial review processes.
  • Lead evaluation, implementation, and optimization of pricing, CPQ, quoting, and commercial systems.
  • Drive process improvements that improve pricing consistency, operational scalability, and commercial effectiveness.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field + 10 years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Finance, Strategic Finance, Revenue Operations, Product Finance, or related disciplines, including 5+ years owning pricing strategy, commercial modeling, or monetization initiatives.
  • Experience within software-driven industrial technology environments, including robotics, warehouse automation, industrial automation, manufacturing technology, or supply chain technology.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and commercializing complex pricing models involving software subscriptions, recurring revenue, hardware platforms, services, and multi-year customer contracts.
  • Experience evaluating customer profitability, deal economics, and product margins to support pricing and commercialization decisions.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, including CEOs, CFOs, Product Leaders, and Sales Executives, to drive pricing and commercial decisions.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, and executive business partnering skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading pricing transformation initiatives, including implementation of CPQ, pricing, quoting, or revenue management systems.
  • Experience supporting global pricing organizations and multi-country commercial operations.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

  • Travel Requirement: Less than 10%
  • Prolonged periods of computer use and sedentary work
