Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform plant investigations and feasibility studies
  • Conduct interference and clearance analysis for robotics
  • Optimize weld spot distribution across robots for cycle time efficiency
  • Create and maintain problem tracking charts and provide solutions
  • Develop equipment, robot, and process specifications
  • Conduct robotic simulations for welding, sealing, and handling processes
  • Perform robot reach studies using simulation tools
  • Support new vehicle model launches on production lines
  • Assist in production ramp-up and line innovation/renovation
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams
  • Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations
